I saw on this blog that the author had created a page titled "Reasons" - in the which she listed reasons to be happy. Things she was thankful for or happy about, that even during the most hard of days (which we all have!) she'd be able to remember she has reason to be happy still. I love that idea. It reminded me of a gratitude Journal I started several years ago where I write down at least one thing each day that my husband, Bob, did for which I was happy or thankful. I came up with the idea at a time when we were young in our marriage and I felt like we/I argued too much. I wanted to be happy, not argue, and I knew that if we focus on things we are thankful for (ie: our blessings) that it really helps us recenter ourselves on what is truly important and helps us feel joy and forget the "bad".
So here is my list of Reasons - things I am thankful for that make me happy. If you wish to add your own in the comments, please do. :) (Thank you DaringYoungMom.com for the idea!)
