Review: Into the Shadows

Into the Shadows by Glenn Beck
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is part II of Beck's Agenda 21 2-book read. It is what I call a "new 1984" - a dystopian - or is it dystopian? - story about what life could easily look like if we actually do nothing to stop the real and current threat that is Agenda 21. Very real, very frightening - and the biggest thought I took away from it was that these things always happen when We The People DON'T PAY ATTENTION to what is happening. When we trust our leaders so very much with our very lives, that we "don't have time" nor the "interest" in learning enough about politics, civics, and our American system of government and who truly holds power and WHY, that the malicious actors - and they always exist, always have - then find an easy way into our proverbial 'tent'. This book tells what happens once that camel is inside the tent - and that no matter how 'well-meaning' their promises and words sound, no matter how "equitable and sustainable" they promise their intent is, it is NEVER the way it ends up being - because power corrupts. Human nature is such that there will always be those who don't rust us "little people" and who believe they know better than we do what we need to do with our lives. They truly believe they must be the ones to control all things, because their way is the better way. Yet, that is the false paradigm that evil sells. This book will inspire any reader who is paying 50% attention to look around and start taking notice how their government is behaving and - hopefully - it will inspire readers to start researching the very real Agenda 21 (not called by updated names like Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2050 and The Great Reset) and hopefully stand strong in fighting against it - beginning with their local town/city/community.

The book is one I found myself looking forward to read each day. Beck is a good story teller and keeps the reader's interest piked. not a long read, and easy to understand. Highly recommended. "Do your homework, people!"
